This is a professional beauty business, and I kindly request that any disputes be resolved using respectful language and behaviour. I reserve the right to refuse or cancel any appointment if I believe I am not the right beauty professional for you or you have contraindications for any service, as determined by my training. Your health and safety and customer satisfaction is a top priority for me.

COVID-19 Policy

  • Do not attend your appointment if you are unwell. Any deposit taken will be credited towards your next appointment whenever you are ready to return. 

  • We reserve the right to refuse service if symptoms of illness is detected by us. This is a necessary part of our infection control measures.

  • On arrival please sanitise your hands.

  • You must be double vaccinated and show your digital vaccination certificate. 


Cancellations Policy

  • We appreciate at least 24 hours notice of cancellation via the online booking form or email at contact@theduchesslashstudio.com.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours will incur a cancellation fee equal to the deposit paid. This cancellation fee can be credited towards your next appointment made within 3 months. 

  • Cancellation fee will be forfeited if no appointment is made within 3 months of cancellation.

  • Rescheduling via the online booking form is allowable up to 24 hours before your booked time. Otherwise cancellation policy applies.

  • If I cancel your booking, I will refund any monies paid. We reserve the right to cancel any appointment.

Refunds Policy

  • Refunds will be given at the discretion of the lash technician. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

  • Refunds will not be given for adverse reactions/ allergies to the products used during the service as this is not through the fault of the technician. We always recommend you book a patch test via the online booking form 48 hours prior to your first lash appointment with us.

  • If there is any problems with your lashes in the first 72 hours after the set is completed, please send us a picture and contact us to discuss a remedy. Remedy to be decided by the technician.

  • Remedy will include ONE a short appointment (max 1 hour) or removal of lashes, free of charge.


We will not be able to provide you lash service in the following circumstances:

  • You have cold or flu symptoms. Please see our COVID-19 Policy above.

  • You are over 20 weeks pregnant unless you have a doctor's certificate saying that you are able to undertake the service. Please note you will have to lay on your back for an extended period of time.

  • You have back or any other injuries which preclude you from laying on your back for an extended period of time.

  • Injuries or infections located on the forehead, eyes or around the eye.

Patch Test

  • Patch test is to rule out allergies to any of the products used during a service. It is complimentary and we strongly recommend a patch if you have not had extensions before.

  • Patch tests should be booked 24-48 hours before the desired lash service via the website.

  • Patch tests take 15 mins and during this time we can discuss what sort of look you want for your next appointment.

  • If you develop an adverse reaction after the patch test IMMEDIATELY contact your GP or hospital emergency room FIRST. I am not a medical professional and unable to provide medical advice.
